Created by two Salem web geeks, Marc Amos and Angelo Simeoni, the Build Guild is a monthly event where folks in the web industry (designers, coders, project managers, hobbyists, etc.) can get together to talk web, debate industry topics, share ideas, make professional connections, land gigs, and discuss the real reasons why mustaches need to make a comeback.

Would it be okay to bring a baby along? I've been wanting to come to one of these for ages, but I can't go far from the little one yet. She's pretty good with people if I carry her, but didn't know how smoky the bar might be. Thanks! --Sherri Alexander

@Sherri: Sure, we've had baby/infants/wee-tykes attend here and there in the past. The bar/restaurant is non-smoking, so no worries about that. At most, it'll get loud-ish and there will be glass everywhere, but that's it.

A decent idea, but the Build Guild tees are setup for print-on-demand when purchased, so I'd have to buy a bunch first ... and I'm lazy/poor.
