Nanotechnology Forum: Discussing the benefits and risks of nanotechnology
Monday March 12, 2007 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Erb Memorial Union
1228 University of Oregon
Eugene, Oregon 97403 Get Directions
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in collaboration with the University of Oregon, the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI) and the ONAMI Safer Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing Initiative (SNNI) will present a public forum on nanotechnology. There will be a few brief presentations on what nanoscience is, how it can benefit society and its possible risks, followed by small group discussions that will allow participants to weigh the benefits and risks of nanotechnology in the context of nanoparticle-based solar cells.

The event is free, but because space is limited registration is required.

To register, please visit our website at: http://greennano.org/register.html
