"The Women of Tin Pay Alley: a musical revue"
Tuesday March 13, 2007 from 8:00pm - 9:15pm
Theater II, Gunston Arts Center
2700 S. Lang Street,
Arlington, VA, Virginia 22206 Get Directions
"The Women of Tin Pan Alley" is a one act, one-woman revue of popular songs from the first half of the Twentieth Century, with a twist. They're all written in whole or in part by women. Joanne Schmoll, familiar to DC area audiences as Venus in "One Touch of Venus" and as a principal soloist in the musical "Call Me Mister" has assembled and will perform a wonderfully diverse group of standards, comic songs, ballads, and new finds. Accompanied by Reenie Codelka. Tickets are $8-$10. 703-553-8782.
