Founded in 2003 by the electrifying conductor and violinist Vladimir Spivakov, the National Philharmonic of Russia comprises the country's leading symphonic virtuosos. With a repertoire encompassing Russia's great master works alongside 20th century pieces and new commissions, the orchestra is a symbol of new Russia, epitomizing its country's rich musical traditions, while taking bold steps towards an innovative future.
