Innovative Artworks: Polaroid Collages for Artist Books

Create unique photographic Polaroid collages to illustrate your artist books while exploring the magic of Polaroid Transfer and Emulsion Lift techniques. Learn exciting transfer techniques and explore transferring to alternative surfaces. You will also experiment with hand-coloring options to enhance your Polaroid images. You can bring your own collection of small 3D items and 4" x 6" prints that fit the theme of your book, and/or take advantage of the opportunity to gather small treasures and take pictures around the campus to incorporate into you work. A small printer will be available to print 4" x 6" photos from your digital camera, and a Daylab copy system will be available to print onto the pull-apart Polaroid film. Your 4x6 prints will not be damaged. No darkroom experience or equipment is needed.
