The 2009 National Association of Government Webmasters Conference will be held at Moody Gardens Resort on Galveston Island, Galveston, Texas, September 16-18, with featured keynote speaker, Eric Meyer.

The NAGW National Conference is the premier conference for local and regional government web professionals. Local, regional, state and federal government web professionals join their peers at the conference for three days of education, training and networking in a relaxed professional environment.

Attendees will learn about the latest trends, get hands-on training with the newest software, and hear presentations from leading professionals from the government and private sectors. They also will have the opportunity to network with peers during meals, at the opening reception, and the Awards banquet. Pinnacle Image

The two and a half day conference with 22 sessions covering a wide variety of government and web-related topics will be preceded by a day of hands-on pre-conference sessions (September 15th) and an opening reception the evening prior to the conference where attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers in a relaxed social setting.

The conference highlight is the Pinnacle Awards banquet, to be held on the evening of September 17th, during which the top government websites and the people responsible for them will vie for a coveted Pinnacle Award and the admiration of their peers, preceded by a superb dinner and entertainment.
