#evfn is a weekly social gathering organized primarily over Twitter. It stands for East Valley Friday Nights and yes, you are invited.

This week, we're stepping a bit out of our normal zone. Lunchbox Collective has offered to sponsor the event his week. That's right kids: SPONSORED! Yeah, I know. Cool, huh? Huge props to Richard Stuart (@richardstuart) for offering up the venue, plus providing providing beer & wine along with hors d'oeuvres.

Sheila Dee and I recently toured Studios 5C Gallery and were quite impressed. The place looks great. The featured artist is Emily Detrick, and the collection of art on display there is titled "SELECTION drawings by emily detrick". Hey look! Some culture at an #evfn. Don't tell those guys at #pfn, or they'll think we're (again) stealing ideas from them.

Studios 5C Gallery is located on the top floor of the building on the southwest corner of 5th & College. You can park underneath, in the outside lot on the SE corner, or take the Light Rail! The Sun Devil Stadium stop is literally across the street!
