North Downs MTB ride
Sunday February 22, 2009 at 8:30am
Bockett's Farm
Top car park, Young Street
Bookham, England Get Directions
Our regular Sunday ride. Exact route still open to debate as with all the rain there's a lot of mud around making it hard work and testing at times.

Note, this is not an organised ride. We're just mountain bikers going roughly in the same direction at roughly the same time!

We give an extra 10 mins for laggards so aim to start by 8:40am.

Check out our meeting place on Google Maps.

I've got a family lunch on Sunday so will give it a miss this week. By the way last week nearly killed me. I think I hit the wall on the way home I'm not sure if it was because I was under the weather or riding SS from home to Leith and back. Even three Tower flapjacks could not prevent my downward spiral into the deadzone. Not good.

Just a heads up - We're a bit depleted this week with Tony, Colin and Jem in Wales, plus Jez and myself unavailable (I've just spent the day chopping down 30ft Leylandii tress, so I'm knackered!! And I've got to clear up tomorrow...)

So, this is to say I'm not sure who's out tomorrow (DaveC? Lee?) or if it's worth turning up? Sorry about the patchiness of the rides recently but we'll get back on track soon, promise!

I'll turn up so hopefully Lee and Andy will too. I'll be seeking advice on chopping down Leylandii later....
