2020 Visions Meets Girls Write Now
A reading with Jared Hohl, Steven Karl, Adam Wiedewitsch and mentors from Girls Write Now, an after-school writing workshop and mentoring program for NYC H.S. girls.

Bios:
Jared Hohl is from Donnellson, Iowa. His writing has appeared in Topic
magazine, on the Associated Press newswire, and in the anthology The
Apocalypse Reader (Thunder's Mouth Press).

Steven Karl received his MFA from The New School. His poems and reviews have appeared in Real Poetik and Lit on-line. He has an article forthcoming in Teachers & Writers Magazine. He lives in Brooklyn.

Pooja Makhijani is the editor of Under Her Skin: How Girls
Experience Race in America. Pooja is curriculum director of Girls Write
Now.

Maggie Pouncey is pursuing an MFA in creative writing at Columbia
University, where she teaches undergraduate writing.This is Maggie's
first year as a mentor with Girls Write Now.

Terry Selucky is a freelance writer, playwright and screenwriter
This is Terry's first year mentoring with Girls Write Now.

Adam Wiedewitsch is a former elementary school teacher from Minnesota.
