6-8pm, Opening Reception for the Beta Launch: Exhibition Part 2

Eyebeam's sixth annual online forum Distributed Creativity investigates paradigms for artmaking that take advantage of mobile and distributed technologies such as WiFi, Weblogs, Wikis, rich Internet applications, voice over IP and social software. Communities from around the world including Creative Commons, DATA, Fibreculture and Rhizome will discuss the artistic, legal, technical and social dynamics of creative networks small and large.

Beta Launch: Artists in Residence '03, the second annual exhibition of works from Eyebeam's Artists in Residence Program includes performances, workshops, presentations, an on-line forum, wireless games and a live auction event. Exhibition will take place October 23 ? December 13, 2003. Tues? Sat, 12?6pm at Eyebeam's Chelsea facility.
