Markets of Paris
Dixon Long, Ruthanne Long
Photographs by Alison Harris
At the heart of every French neighborhood is a thriving street market that is the pulse of its residents, merchants, and local character. From vintage books to botanical prints, antique flea markets to the venders with the best vegetables—explore and shop the way Parisians do—on foot with a sense of adventure!

Dixon and Ruthanne Long are co-authors of Markets of Provence. He is also a novelist and short story writer, as well as dean emeritus and professor emeritus of political science at Case Western Reserve University. Ruthanne Long was a food consultant for wineries in the Napa Valley. They have lived in Provence and Paris. Dixon Long lives in Northern California.
