The event begins at 10 a.m. at City Beach, with a ceremony featuring musical and military salutes and speakers. The parade follows ceremonies at City Beach. The parade begins at the band shell and will go east on Wisconsin Avenue to Oakwood Avenue, where it will stop for a brief ceremony on the bridge. The parade will continue to La Belle Cemetery where floral, military and musical tributes will recognize veterans who have passed since last Memorial Day.
