Free World Premiere Screening of WebcamMurder.com, Most Boring Talky Ever Made
Saturday July 28, 2007
from
8:15pm -
9:45pm
It isn't every day--or every generation--that a new motion picture genre is born. Kind of like asteroids wiping out the dinosaurs.
And yet, on Saturday July 28 at 8:15pm, prestigious
Grounded CyberCafe on glamorous Ventura Blvd. in entertainment capital of the world Sherman Oaks will host the World Premiere screening of
WebcamMurder.com, the first independent movie in the Film Sleepy genre: movies that put the audience to sleep (on purpose).
Explained auteur Sondra Lowell, "Movies that keep people awake are losing money.
WebcamMurder.com points Hollywood moguls in the direction they need to go. It follows the foibles of people who live their whole lives on webcams. And sometimes their empty rooms."
Meaning nobody will mind if you talk through the movie. Or snore. Not even Sondra.
The screening is free, including parking on the street and behind the building.
If you can't take the boredom, go ahead and rent time on one of the computers, or order a sandwich or espresso. To add to the festivities,
Grounded CyberCafe will be premiering its own
WebcamMurder elixir, conjured up just for the occasion.
Sondra's previous work includes "Sleep," a live 8 hour one person show that both performer and audience slept through, and "At Home With Sondra," a show held over for six months by popular demand in her living room. Her best sellingAmazon Short ebook,
How to Make a Movie That Puts the Audience to Sleep: A Home Study Course, teaches others to make movies that give audiences the rest they crave.
Stars of
WebcamMurder.com will be at the screening to answer questions about parts of the film the audience sleeps through.
Please RSVP at 323-982-7092 due to limited space.
