The Oberholz offers WIFI but the location is not nice...

Barcomi's Deli - great cakes and varieties of tea. located inside a beautiful courtyard - http://www.barcomis.de
Strandbad Mitte - good food & drinks - great location: http://www.strandbad-mitte.de/
Gorki Park - not sure if wlan is available at night, but the place is nice (try the brunch) http://www.gorki-park.de

starbucks at hackescher markt - open wireless connection, upper floor with meeting facilities and a true entrepreneurial spirit .... (guess phil knows hat i mean :-) )

Sniggy barcomis would be my choice of course - but not for the evening and talking ;o) will put THAT back to my selection of places to visit, totally forgot about them. :))

Place found: Cafe Oberholz. Not perfect probably, but good enough.
