Description
Nearly 500 adventurers get this chance each year to experience a "Naughycal Adventure on the High Seas. Queen City Cruise features sun, music, dancing, scenery, and _men_. It tours Seattle's harbor and inland passages on an extravagantly decorated boat. Tickets are $50 and available only online at www.ttca.org

A 26-year Seattle tradition, the Queen City Cruise is an Unforgettable Naughtycal Adventure on the High Seas and a deliciously deviant contribution to Seafair, Seattle's water sports extravaganza.

There's something for everyone on board: soaking in the sights and sun on the front bow, shaking the booty to really great dance music, drinking cool libations served by fun-loving bartenders, and sampling fine edibles at the bountiful buffet provided by Timberline Spirits.

And if all that isn't tempting enough, there will be contests and prizes – including the coveted traditional award for "Coming the Greatest Distance." Dress up or dress down your student body and compete in the costume contests for fabulous prizes.

The Cruise this year has been dubbed "Pier Pressure" and is the "climax party" of a full summer of activities called the "Lavender Valley High School Classless Reunion." Once upon a time in this town that was once nicknamed "The Queen City" but now called "The Emerald City" (because – or so the chamber-of-commerce brain trust thought – the new name was less gay) there used to be a high school called Lavender Valley High School. The school and its various clubs held a springtime party each year called The Prom…You Never Went To!

The Prom had a fourteen-year run from 1983 to 1997. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Last Prom, so the Tacky Tourists are celebrating the occasion by holding a CLASSLESS REUNION. (It’s "classless" since there was never a graduation class at the school.)

A schedule of all Classless Reunion events is abilable on the website, www.ttca.org
