Commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the worldwide BarCamp community, we'll planning on hosting as many simultaneous BarCamps around the world as possible.

While we're planning on a holding a "BarCampBlockParty" of sorts in Palo Alto, we're also encouraging folks to run local camps in solidarity with one another -- this isn't about Silicon Valley -- it's about the huge diversity and spirit of creativity that the *camp community has unleashed around the world in the past three years!

If you want to run a BarCamp on the weekend of Aug 17-19 or somewhere around that time, please add your camp to the wiki.
