Thomas Miles "Nephew Tommy" Thomas Miles aka Nephew Tommy is doing the impossible. He is selling out comedy clubs across the country with very little TV exposure. In some cities comedy clubs have had to add additional shows to accommodate the demand to see him. So, you ask yourself? How is Thomas Miles selling out shows with limited TV and Film exposure? Before I answer that question, Thomas Miles has paid his dues… Thomas Miles toured the country for nearly three years as the exclusive opening act for the Late Great Luther Vandross. " I had the choice of hundreds of comics to choose from, but in the end I choose Thomas Miles. His skill as an actor and comedian fits in perfectly with the classy and entertaining show I believe in presenting," said Vandross… Thomas Miles enrolled as the first black Theatre Arts major of Texas A&M University, he studied under Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Charles Gordone and trained with the Royal Shakespeare Company of London. His television and film work consist of appearances on Showtime at the Apollo, B.E.T.'s Comic View, Sister-Sister, The Parkers, and his feature credits in the independent films Last Call, Thug Life and 4 Deep… Thomas Miles has received outstanding critical praise for his performances as a stage actor in King Lear, Soldier's Play, Twelfth Nite, Colored Museum, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and What Ever Happened to Black Love…
