PHPBelgium PHP meeting april
Wednesday April 22, 2009 from 8:00pm - 11:00pm
Combell offices
Skaldenstraat 121
Gent, Oost-Vlaanderen 9042 Get Directions

The sun is shining again and PHP is hotter than ever, so let's kick off our spring meeting with a blast and talk about PHP! We hope this meeting will be of extra value to you with 2 great presentations and again a few give aways. Enough reasons to meet us in Ghent!

Schedule:

* 20:00h: CLI, the other SAPI - Thijs Feryn
Thijs Feryn is the support manager at COMBELL where he constantly gets into contact with real-world hosted examples of good and bad LAMP development. Being a PHP 5 ZCE he's also a talented developer and you'll be hearing plenty more of him in the community

21:00h: Everything you always wanted to know about UTF-8 (but never dared to ask) - Juliette Reinders Folmer
Juliette is a veteran PHP developer and a well respected representative for PHPWomen in the Benelux. She has already introduced herself about a year ago at one of the first PHPBelgium meetings, but is now giving a presentation where you'll learn the ins and outs of UTF-8

22:00h: Drinks and socializing

And as always, we've also got a few nice things to give away:

- A signed copy of "Zend Framework in Action" by Rob Allen
- A free Zend Studio for Eclipse license
- A free ticket for the Dutch PHP Conference

We're looking forward seeing you there,

The PHPBelgium Team

We'd like to thank this meeting's sponsors: Combell for the location, Zend for Zend Studio License and Ibuildings for letting us give away a ticket to the Dutch PHP Conference. If you are interested in sponsoring a PHPBelgium meeting or event, contact us!
