Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh Dance & Company will premiere two works in celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Month. An emerging dance company in the DC area, Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh Dance & Company performs and presents Indian dance forms, such as Bharata Natyam and Modern dance side by side mirroring the multiple identities of second generation South Asians. Dakshina means offering in Sanskrit and the company offers artists and communities the unique opportunity to experience dance as a movement that links the arts, cultures and social causes.

TICKETS: $22 general admission; $17 members, students, teachers (PreK-12), professional artists & seniors; $8 for children 17 & under – unless noted otherwise.
