Understand the history, development, and purpose of the Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) certification program, including what’s in it for them.
Define the criteria for both the Knowledge-based Exam and Work Product Submission phases.
Begin to assess one’s individual readiness to enter the certification process.
Implement tips & tricks to successfully pass both phases of the certification program.

About the Facilitator
Trish Uhl, PMP, CPLP has served as an officer with Chicagoland Chapter, ASTD (CCASTD) since 2005. Trish is also the founder and president of Owl’s Ledge LLC. Trish played a key role in the 2005 ASTD CPLP® Pilot by organizing and managing a virtual study group of 150+ pilot participants throughout the U.S. and Canada. Since then, Trish has presented on the CPLP® at the ASTD Leaders Conference, as well as for the Twin Cities, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, and Metro-Washington DC ASTD chapters.
