Speaker: Ingrid Brady

Ms Brady is an Executive Consultant in Capgemini's Intelligent Enterprise group. She consults to large global organisations on exploiting their information assets to drive business value and transform their businesses. A key part of that is advising executives at board level and designing transformation programmes that utilise technologies such as large scale data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics and collaboration tools to harness the potential of information. After studying Computing Science at the University of Technology, Sydney, Ms Brady began her career in technology with IBM in 1985 in their Information Systems division, quickly attaining a senior role in that organisation. She became involved in key information oriented projects, introducing Data Warehousing and Collaborative tools to some of IBM's key global customers in the early 1990's and has been passionate about helping organisations exploit information ever since. After leaving IBM, she ran her own software development and consulting business for 9 years in Australia before migrating to the UK where she has worked as an independent consultant until joining Capgemini. Ms Brady has consulted to organisations such as IBM, a client of her own business for 9 years, O2, BT, Electronic Arts (largest independent electronic games publisher in the world), Sun Microsystems, Hitachi Data Systems, Telstra, a number of large banks & insurance companies in Australia and Manulife International Hong Kong, a global insurance company.
