Cine Las Americas will be holding a volunteer recruitment meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 5 to 7 pm in Room 2 of the library at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center on 1165 Angelina Street. Volunteers will be compensated for their time on a sliding scale depending on the extent of their involvement, with individual tickets and festival passes. This year’s venues include the Paramount Theater, the Regal Metropolitan at South IH-35 and Stassney and the Alamo Drafthouse.
