Our mission: Education, action, community: Use media & technology to build democracy and educate and empower local and virtual communities.

Our format: Monthly meet-ups leading to volunteer activity. We are planning events for May 1 and mid July at this meeting, also speaking about interesting projects underway by members, non profits and community orgs.

Tech folks, activists, community organizers, journalists, GLBT, media producers, nonprofit staffers, web 2.0/social media folks and connectors of all disciplines welcomed.
