Andrea Scarpino's first poetry collection, The Grove Behind, was published in February 2009 by Finishing Line Press. She received an MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University, has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and widely published in both print and online journals. A longtime activist, she has worked for presidential campaigns, voter registration drives, anti-war movements, feminist campaigns and environmental organizations.
