To celebrate Wave Hill's 2009 Year of the Trees, 12 artists have created new paintings or drawings that relate to the magnificent specimens in its collection. Since last fall, the artists have toured the grounds with the interpretive horticulture staff, and made multiple visits to observe, sketch and photograph. Exhibiting artists: Joel Adas, Rebecca Allan, Sandra Allen, Joan Backes, Isabel Bigelow, Emily Brown, Diane Carr, Jill Lear, Andrew Millner, Stas Orlovski, Ilene Sunshine, Amy Talluto.
