From its birth in San Francisco’s swanky Bruno’s nightclub, the nine-piece Orchestra Nostalgico has garnered rave reviews for its eclectic and jazzy interpretations of the classic cinematic compositions of Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone of ‘Spaghetti Western’ fame and the swinging ‘spy music’ of John Barry. Their big band sound is deliciously retro, yet decidedly modern, delivering a jaunty angle on this timeless film music.
