2007 California State Yo-Yo Championships

The Exploratorium is hosting the 2007 California State Yo-Yo Championships. Meet national and world yo-yo champions and learn amazing tricks. Don’t miss the main attraction: the freestyle divisions, where players take to the stage and perform a synchronized three-minute routine set to music.

At noon, join Exploratorium host Ron Hipschman, and learn how a little double disk with a string attached is an amazing apparatus for studying the physics of motion. Ron will delve into the science behind all the spinning with expert Doc Watson. Then be astounded by the tricks of Doc Popular!
