Burning Man is incredible fun, just be prepared. Read the guides and follow them. The event is magnificent but the desert can kill the unprepared.

Burning Man fun. A nice SAFE alternative for tent lovers is teardrop campers starting at $4,995. They can be used year round and left alone at any camp site with the locking doors. You will be seeing this for a nice way to enjoy Burning Man. What a blast this event is. We go every year. Be safe....

@KymSipes: I can't tell if you're joking. On the off chance that you're not, no. No women are allowed at Burrning Man. None. Take a quick look through the pictures at http://flickr.com/photos/tags/burningman/ and you'll see that there are miles and miles of both shirt and cock but no women. As for hotel accommodations, I recommend the Playa Marriott if you can afford it. Tip: try their veal. Last year they had free-range, non-BGH, double-kosher stock for the veal. If you can't afford the Playa Marriott, try the Black Rock City Days Inn. It's off the strip, way on the outskirts of the city, and can take hours to drive in past all the traffic and construction, but the pool has a waterslide, and who doesn't love a waterslide? Gotta run, enjoy your Continental Breakfast!
