The Corpus Christi Corvette Club is offering a "once in a lifetime opportunity", in conjunction with our club sponsor Champion Chevrolet, for everyone to join us as we attempt to establish a World Record for the number of Corvettes on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier in cooperation with the USS Lexington "Museum on the Bay". Although limited to the 300 Corvettes already registered and representing 18 States, there will be numerous events, public access to the Lexington Museum on the Bay to view its exhibits as well as all 300 corvettes, access to the Texas State Aquarium nearby, a "Street Fair", Vendors, Special Events and lots of FUN activities for the whole Family. Mark your calendar and make plans to attend !
The USS LEXINGTON is open year 'round seven days a week for touring and special events. *We are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day.
Museum Hours of Operation
9am to 6pm
(Memorial Day through Labor Day)
9am to 5pm
(Labor Day through Memorial Day)
Admission Pricing No additional fees are required to view the Corvettes on the Flight Deck !!
$11.95 - Adults
$9.95 - Seniors (60 & above) and Active or Retired Military
$6.95 - Children 4 to 12
Free - Children 3 & under
Tour routes involve climbing stairways. The main deck (Hangar Deck), pier, and the Mega Theater are handicap-accessible. The Ship's Store, the Mess Deck, and restrooms are also accessible. Admission is free for wheelchairs.
Admission includes a free large format movie in the Joe Jessel MEGA Theater.
Membership includes unlimited visits free of charge.
The USS LEXINGTON Museum on the Bay is a private, non-profit organization that relies on your admission fees and Donations to continue to provide the best experience for our patrons. Thank you for visiting!
The USS LEXINGTON rests in Corpus Christi Bay, just across the ship channel from downtown Corpus Christi, Texas.
Convenient all day parking is available for $3.00 (free for Members).
Because the USS Lexington is a Naval Vessel with inherent obstacles it is REQUIRED that everyone boarding wear CLOSED TOE SHOES. NO SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS etc.

Petty Officer Caleb S. Duke, United States Navy, served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and most recently volunteered to deploy in direct support of the United States Army as a Civil Affairs Staff Sergeant where he served on a four-man Direct Support Team and earned the Bronze Star with Combat “V.”
