Our first Freebase user group meeting! The event is open to Freebase enthusiasts of all stripes and will include pizza and beer.
In addition to exchanging ideas with other Freebasers, you'll get several juicy (but mercifully short), behind-the-scenes presentations.
The event is at the Metaweb offices, which are two blocks from the Montgomery Street Bart station. Also, in this neighborhood, street parking is free after 6p.
6 pm is a show-stopper for anyone with a Real Job (TM) who is coming from anyplace other than San Francisco. I'd suggest making it at least 7 pm next time.
I'd also like to suggest things such as tutorials, hack sessions, etc. In fact, some of this might be possible after 8 pm, if a Metaweb employee wants to play host.
Thanks for the feedback, Rich. The maps are working now, and we'll certainly consider starting later if people would prefer that. Btw, the first 30 mins of this meeting will be mostly eating and mingling, so there's a little wiggle room.
