Introducing STRUCTURE: a new monthly night of electro bricolage. Combining this maximal space and heavyweight Funktion One sound system, T Bar is the perfect host for the electro/techno/bass sounds of STRUCTURE.

Cursor Miner’s music has been described as “electro Syd Barrett meets Aphex Twin meets Gary Numan with a touch of early Eno and a nod at Beck”. His storming performance at Sonar 2007 saw him steal the show as one of the most memorable live acts of the festival. His most recent release on Combat: “Everybody want Power” has been featured on Mary Anne Hobbs’ Radio One show Breezeblock and “Carnivore” was ‘track of the week’ for 2 weeks running! For the second Structure installment and as one of his farewell UK gigs before he jets off into the wilderness, expect to be whisked off into Cursor’s frenetic electronic world.

Vent is the latest bass induced venture from Sam Ashwell aka Diagoro and Dan Havers aka DJ Samurai. Between them the pair have an impressive discography having individually released on labels: Colony Productions, which Ashwell co-runs, Erratica, Touchin Bass, Frequency and Restless Natives. Tonight they join forces for one of their first live performances as Vent playing upfront material from the debut album Itch out on the highly respected electronica imprint Colony Productions.

Josh Doherty - a man with many fingers in many pies: one half of indie electro duo Posthuman, one fifth of modern classical meets electronica outfit Digitional. He is also founder of leftfield imprint Seed Records, promoter of the legendary Aldwych tube station raves (yes – the ones with Aphex Twin, Goldfrapp and Plaid) and host for the Soviet parties at the Coronet and more recently I LOVE ACID. Tonight Josh will be gracing us with hardcore rave classics, soulful Detroit techno and dirty Parisian electro.

Recruited to the Haywire roster after witnessing her DJ skills at the art-inspired electro night Nerd, Shelley Parker’s sonic playgrounds have since included Fabric, The End, T Bar, Encompass and Tate Britain. Her refusal to be restricted to one style and her versatility, has seen her adeptly flick between genre’s playing alongside the slick company of Magda, Andrew Weatherall and Plastician. Providing the visual stimulus for the evening as well as her own blend of electro/techno/bass to the proceedings, she will be presenting a series of still images alongside an array of carefully selected photographers and video artists.
