Guardian Tech Weekly in Bristol
Friday May 22, 2009 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Watershed
1 Canon's Road, Harbourside
Bristol, England BS1 5TX Get Directions
We've been to Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle - and now we're bringing the Guardian's Tech Weekly podcast to glorious Bristol.

We want to meet techies, gamers, developers and entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes and it's a good excuse for everyone to meet up.

We want to hear all your ideas and your thoughts about the local scene - the rising stars and ones to watch, as well as the problems holding the tech community back.

It can be hard to meet everybody in a few hours, so please hone your finest 90-second hack day-style pitches! Or, alternatively, bring us some bumpf or put your details below so we know who you are even before we get there...

Everyone welcome, but please RSVP below.

See you there!

Bristol is famous for concentrating on one area Stokes Croft. Clicking
on the some buildings steps back through artwork that's gone before
(e.g. use the jump menu to go to "face" and click on the building with
the woman's face).

I'm hoping to come down, although I'll be doing my thing and running a creative workshop at University of Bath for most of that day. I'm working on getting people doing more user focussed stuff in a creative engaging way, and trying to get them to be 'agile'. http://www.linkedin.com/in/laurafrancis

Unfortunately I cant make it, but would have loved to have talked about a project im working on in Bristol. Its a non-tactile interface for music performance. There's an old in development video for it here http://www.vimeo.com/4199694 And an event that showcases this and many other works in Bristol on the 02/06/09 here http://switchdialogue.wordpress.com
