The nursery rhymes of Misuzu are full of vivid descriptions of the earth?s beauty and of life itself. Her clean and simple words can be easily understood by children, but their underlying deepness will move adults.

Naoko Yamazawa, soprano, will sing sixteen Misuzu Kaneko?s poems put to music by a notable Japanese composer, Yoshinao Nakada, as well as traditional Japanese songs (Sakura Sakura) and other popular songs of the present day.
