The Mary C has been selected as one of the host venues for the 2009-2010 Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers

The Mary C and Walter Anderson Museum of Art are partnering to bring cutting edge Independent Cinema to the Gulf Coast, with a Tour of Independent Films and their Makers, from all across the South!

Each year, the first half of each Circuit tour takes place in the fall when three filmmakers are each sent by the Southern Arts Federation on a journey to communities across the South.

The second half of the tour takes place in the spring with three more filmmakers traveling throughout the region.

At each stop along the tour, the filmmakers screen their work in the evening and engage audiences in post-screening discussions.
