Run for the Paws 5K is a race to raise money for the Georgetown SPCA. Georgetown SPCA is now a low-kill shelter and many animals remain at the shelter for months before finding a new home. The SPCA relies fully on donations to care for them. All proceeds from the race will be go towards the comfort and care of the animals. The race director is Tim Bamforth of the Seashore Striders Event Series. Race registration is $15 before race day and $20 on the day of the race. The race will begin on Dagsworthy Street in Dewey Beach, Delaware and the after-party will be held at the Starboard. Please come out and support our furry friends!
