Weaving together original text, movement and music, the show's four librarians create elaborate scenarios that explore history and illusion from a feminine perspective. They seamlessly inhabit various roles, including handless maidens, the Bronte sisters, an ill wind and minor deities. Comedic and dark by turns, the piece employs books, children's games and alchemy as it traverses internal landscapes of memory.
