The sixth annual First Person Festival will host an array of outstanding memoir and documentary artists from around the country. This year's Festival includes premiere documentaries, intimate looks at real-life stories with respected authors, personal journeys sparked by food, interactive workshops to awaken the artist within, art exhibits, free events offered daily, and the Grand Slam featuring the winners of the past year's StorySlams storytelling competitions. First Person Arts is guided by the belief that the sharing of personal experience is a powerful way for people to celebrate uniqueness, bridge differences, and find common ground.
