The Champlain Valley Search & Rescue K9 Unit will host its First-Annual Golf Tournament & Golf Ball Drop Friday, July 24, at the Harmony Golf Club in Port Kent. All proceeds will fund the efforts of the specialized K9 unit for the upcoming year.

It will be a four-person scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $75 per person for the golf tourney, which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes. There will also be a golf ball drop and tickets are $10 each with $1000 total prize money to be given away.

The minimum number of teams needed is 18 with the deadline, Friday, June 15.
