Amadou & Mariam, Laura Veirs and Glenn Kotche (and Stephin Merritt DJing) - Nonesuch / CMJ Event

Nonesuch Records, home of eclectic artists such as Wilco, David Byrne, Magnetic Fields, Kronos Quartet, Philip Glass, Brad Mehldau, Youssou N'Dour and many many more will be showcasing some of their best new artists during the CMJ Music Marathon (Sept. 14-17). This showcase will include Glenn Kotche (Wilco drummer, solo project), Laura Veirs (amazing Seattle singer/songwriter - www.lauraviers.com ) and Amadou & Mariam (blind couple from West Africa - perform a unique blend of African pop, blues, R&B and Funk) Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields) will be a special guest DJ for the event.
