Dark Shadows remains a cult classic decades after the final episode aired on television in 1971. Dr. Jeff Thompson, author of The Television Horrors of Dan Curtis: Dark Shadows and Other Productions, 1966-2006, will show film clips and discuss director Dan Curtis, Dark Shadows, The Night Stalker, literature’s influence on his films, and the influence of Curtis’s horror films on subsequent scary movies and TV shows. A book signing will follow.
