One man takes on 40 characters in this comedy about an out-of-work actor who mans the reservations telephone line at Manhattan's hottest restaurant. He must deal with the connivings of patrons desperate to get a reservation as well as with his own problems: his dad wants him home for Christmas, and he's up for a part at Lincoln Center. Can he manage the madness and still look out for himself?
