An Introduction to Techniques in Medical Illustration

This workshop will explore the delicate beauty of traditional carbon dust illustration. While working from real specimens, participants will learn about the careful observation and drawing techniques required to create beautiful and accurate drawings using carbon dust, colored pencil, and ink. Ages 13 to adult. All levels welcome. Pre-registration is required.

Course leader: Elizabeth Lockett, Collections Manager of the Museum’s Human Developmental Anatomy Center and Scientific Illustrator.

Parking is available. Photo ID required.
