Learn to sail a new Hobie Trimaran on the lower Columbia! The Trimaran looks like a mutant kayak with a sail, outriggers and a pedalling mechanism much like a bicycle. This allows the sailor to experience the water in 3 different ways - as a paddle, a "water bike" workout or as something akin to a windsail, where the craft can reach speeds of 10-13 knots. Come out and join Portland Community College and Scappoose Bay Kayaking for this exciting new opportunity!
