The Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships are the pinnacle of the DCI Tour, a series of more than 100 live competitive drum corps events taking place across North America from June through August. The DCI World Championships mark a week-long celebration of the “very best” in the world of marching music, ending in the crowning of world champions in each of Drum Corps International’s competitive classes.

Individuals and small musical, percussion and visual ensembles from any of the competing Drum Corps International corps will showcase their musical and performance skills.

Multiple events will take place simultaneously throughout the Indiana Convention Center. Individual performances will include wind instrument categories such as trumpet, French horn, flute and tuba; percussion categories are snare drum, timpani, marimba or xylophone. Ensemble performances include brass, percussion, bass drum or cymbal ensembles, mixed percussion and brass. Visual performances include flag and dance.
