The Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships are the pinnacle of the DCI Tour, a series of more than 100 live competitive drum corps events taking place across North America from June through August. The DCI World Championships mark a week-long celebration of the “very best” in the world of marching music, ending in the crowning of world champions in each of Drum Corps International’s competitive classes.

During the week of the Drum Corps International World Championships and after advancing through the quarterfinal and semifinal events, the world champion drum corps is the highest scoring ensemble at the finals competition.
