Gilroy Garlic Festival
Friday July 24, 2009 - Sunday July 26, 2009 from 10:00am - 7:00pm
Christmas Hill Park
7050 Miller Avenue
Gilroy, California 95020 Get Directions
This year Gilroy is celebrating our 31st Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival. There is the most amazing food that you can only get once a year. If you love Garlic there are many delicacies you will enjoy. It gets very hot and crowded in summer so bring lots of water, wear sunscreen, and bring a hat!! :) Great for all ages, has a section just for children, beer tent for 21+, lots of artwork and all sorts of booths to buy things from, henna tattoo's, entertainment, and much much more. Hours are from 10am to 7pm but the fates close at 6pm so make sure you make it before then. Its best to come either really early or later in the afternoon; it is usually less crowded during those times of the day. COME YOU WONT REGRET IT!! IT'S AMAZING!!! Hope to see you there!!

My husband and myself like to go and collect the bobbleheads. Being that there will not be one this year, we are staying out of the crowd. Too bad, those things sold like hot cakes and were a great momento, I can't imagine whose lame brain idea it was to stop them. Of coarse the way this city has been run as late , who knows. I can't wait for election time!

I passed on it this year as the last few times I went, it was way too hot, too much traffic, over crowded and it took over an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. The food lines were ridiculous to wait on. No chance of me ever going again in the future.
