Chris Paola is a Professor of Earth Sciences, Geology and Geophysics and a principal investigator at the National Center for Earth-Surface Dynamics at the University of Minnesota. This event is sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Study, the Institute on the Environment, the College of Design, the Telling River Stories collaborative, the Department of Urban Studies, the Water Resources Center and the Metropolitan Studies Consortium as part of the series Telling River Stories: The I-35W Bridge, the Mississippi River, and Rebuilding Community Connections.
