The nonstop fun and excitement of the National City Roar on the River weekend kicks off Friday evening with "A Taste of the Races" ($35 ALL YOU CAN EAT) a delectable taste fest featuring a huge selection of the region's best restaurants and caterers. It's an annual sellout and one of the region's most talked about events of the year! Weekend-long powerboat racing is the main attraction, but a wide range of other activities will abound throughout Elizabeth Park, the jewel of the Wayne County Parks system. Key events include ongoing Jet Ski stunt shows, live entertainment, Saturday night fireworks, a children's fun fair and a classic car show — all within an exciting and fast-paced festival atmosphere along the waterfront.
