Richmond Independent Radio station WRIR 97.3 FM will host an
Independence picnic and kite fly Sunday, July 5th from 1 to 5pm at
Chimborazo Park on Church Hill. Revelers are encouraged to bring their
blankets, picnic baskets, kites, frisbees, hula hoops, acoustic
instruments, and friends to this family-friendly celebration.
Richmond, Virginia's Chimborazo Park borders East Broad Street between
32nd and 36th Street (and is home to a miniature Statue of Liberty).
