St Croix County Wisconsin Fire Chief Fundraiser
Saturday December 1, 2007 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Multiple Locations
Polk County Wisconsin
Hudson, New Richmond, Baldwin, Roberts, Wisconsin Get Directions
We have decided to kick off our Red Kettle Campaign with an entertaining fundraiser involving the local area Fire chiefs.

Our goal is to raise $10,000. The Fire chiefs in 4 locations will be raised in their ladder trucks until we raise a cumulative total of $10,000. As we get closer to the goal, we will lower the Chiefs to the ground. The fun begins Saturday, December 1st at 10:00 am.
(We would really like to have these guys down ASAP so they don't freeze up in their buckets)

At $2,000 we’ll turn the heat on in the bucket
At $4,000 we’ll give them hot chocolate
At $6,000 a sandwich will be served
At $8,000 a snack of their choice
At $10,000 they get to go home and warm up

Come join the fun and get the Chief of your town out of their fire truck.

The Salvation Army changes lives! We help the less fortunate survive in our county through rent and utility assistance and we provide food and transportation subsidies. Along with all that we also offer shelter and a listening ear.

St Croix County has the only Homeless Shelter in 5 Counties.
The Salvation Army's Grace Place has been a safe harbor for many in need.
In the five years that Grace Place has been housing St. Croix County’s homeless, 501 individuals and families have enjoyed 26,896 safe and peaceful nights. They came to us from parks, parking lots and hospitals. Sometimes their families brought them to us as they were unable to financially or emotionally continue providing for their loved ones.

Because of the growing population in our county the need is also growing. We need your help to help those who need help the most!

Feel free to contact me at 715-247-2944 or email me at bob.hanson@yahoo.com if you have any questions or would like to speak with me further about how you can help make a difference in St Croix County and our communities.
